Hollyford NS took partin the Primary Cross County Athletics in Thurles Crokes on Thursday September 26th. Well done to Conor Carr who came in 6th
place, Patrick Carr who came in 9th place and Maebh Browne who came in 10th place. The 3rd/4th class boys came second in the team event. Congratulations to Aisling DeCrúis who came in 4th place,Molly McLoughlin who came in 9th place, Cathal Ryan who came in 9th place and Larry Collins who came in 10th place. Our 5th/6th class girls won their team event. Well done to every one in the Senior Room for participating.

Grandparents Mass took place on Wednesday February 5th. Both pupils and grandparents actively participated in the mass. The school choir sang beautifully under the guidance of Majella Doody. We had light refreshments in the school afterwards where the pupils related poetry and played music for their grandparents.

Hollyford NS held a Positive Mental Health Day on Wednesday Feb 19th beginning with yoga from both Junior and senior rooms. All pupils went for a mindful walk in Dundrum Woods and then had a fruit picnic. Everyone enjoyed the day and were made aware of how important Positive Mental Health is.
